How can I mix with my dog so that fear of strangers does not develop?
Socializing your dog is easy to do; it is a general effort on a specific training procedure. First, you need to take him to a puppy school. General term for a series of simple group training classes for dogs. (Often done at the vet clinic which has the added boon of teaching your dog about positive bonds with your vet.)
In the puppy preschool classroom, ten puppy owners meet with a qualified trainer. (often two coaches – the stronger, the more time goes one-on-one). With a professional and teach your puppies basic obedience commands: sit and stay, etc. Although obedience work is helpful and is a great way to get your puppy started. The path to being a reliable adult dog is the best part of grooming. The school is playing sessions: several times during class; Puppies are encouraged to run off leash and play with each other.
An ideal environment for them to learn good social skills. Many unfamiliar dogs (taught to interact with exotic dogs). Unknown people (who teach them that new faces are nothing). Fear, and safe and controlled environment (at least one certified trainer will keep things out of control).
But socialization doesn’t end just with preschool puppies. A continuous effort throughout the life of your puppy and dog: it must occupy a lot of new places and environments. Remember not to overwhelm him – get started and increase your tolerance.
Aggression towards family members: They have two common causes that make a dog aggressive towards its human family members:
–You are trying to defend something that you believe is due to your perception of threat (you). This is known as property protection. Although it may seem harmless, there is more to do here than trying to keep your croquet to yourself.
–You are not comfortable with the treatment / management you receive from yourself or other family members.
What is property protection?
Protecting property is common among dogs. The term refers to excessive breathing behavior on the part of your dog. For example, you have lost to him if you approach him when he eats. Or give him an “eye” (a direct look with steady eyes) if he reaches your hand for a toy.
Dogs do enjoy their nature from time to time. Sometimes they were housed in unimaginable objects: garbage that cannot be eaten, pieces of paper or cloth, old socks. But protecting property often becomes an issue on items of real value and very understandable: food and toys.
