I realized a long time ago the enormous potential of internet marketing. But the road to internet success was not an easy one, as I’m sure you’ve experienced too. I spent too much time and money in the beginning on useless products and last chance “shiny item” that promised the earth but delivered nothing. I was finally able to learn what works when it comes to making a profit online. It is my online marketing business that has given me multiple streams of residual income and, more important than the money alone, has allowed me more free time to do the things I want to do.
One thing that can accelerate your success is having a mentor, someone who has already achieved the level of success you aspire to and is willing to show you exactly how you did it. Next, you need a proven system and a plan of action to follow.
So one thing I urge you to do is find a mentor. I have been fortunate to have several mentors over the years, some personal business acquaintances and partners and some ‘virtual’. By virtual I mean you can learn a lot by following successful sellers online through YouTube videos, webinar training, and books and audio training.
Some of the things I learned from my mentors that helped me grow my online business include:
Overdeliver value before you expect your leads or prospects to buy from you. You have to care about people, and you have to reach their hearts. Listen to your prospects if you talk to them personally, and identify with their dreams, their goals, their problems, and their desires. Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.
Take advantage of other people’s results. This is huge if you’re just starting out online and don’t have any real substantial results to show others. You can build on the success of your mentor, your sponsor, or anyone else who is already having success doing what you are doing.
Mentality is also key, you must have a reason, and you must also have the belief and tenacity to carry it out. Your ‘why’ is the reason you want and are determined to succeed… you may want more free time to spend with your children and family, you may be tens of thousands of dollars in debt and fall into depression… It is often said that why must be big enough to make you cry.
Those two examples above are all too often excuses people give as to why they can’t succeed online… “I don’t have time to do it”… and “I don’t have enough money to get started.” .. I’m sure you’ve heard that before, but those are the exact reasons you MUST do it. Everyone has the same 24 hours in a day and can find 1-2 free hours a day just by turning off the TV, prioritizing other tasks, or using better time management, and there are plenty of ways to raise enough money to get started, either it can be a garage sale…pull out some old stuff and sell it on eBay…maybe even put the cost on your credit card. The fact is that you REALLY want to find the way that you will.
In short, these are the simple steps one of my mentors taught me that you can duplicate.
1. Build Rapport: Ask your prospects questions, listen to their pain points, and be genuinely interested without expecting anything in return.
2. Take advantage of your leaders

There has never been a better time to get into an online business, the current global situation and looming financial crisis, along with robots and new technologies taking over human jobs, mean that more and more people are find themselves without work and to survive absolutely.
