Empowering change empowering Tech

If you’re like thousands of WoW players, you probably enjoy playing the Mage class. While I’m sure this is very exciting, there are some difficulties associated with leveling a mage character and I’ll show you below a simple strategy to overcome these difficulties. Let’s get into it.

The key to this strategy is using a very good talent spec rotation along with a mage leveling guide plugin, but more on that later. Arcane, Frost, and Fire all work wonderfully at one point, but rotation is key. This is the rotation I prefer – it’s a good idea to start with a fire spec early on (1 -20). The power output at these levels may be enough until you hit the more skill dependent levels later on.

Using an Alliance leveling guide of say 20 to 70 gives you a considerable advantage if used with the frost spec. This spec is good, especially in battlegrounds, and given the sheer number of levels to climb, it’s an absolute time saver.

From level 70 – 80 things get very interesting. It’s usually best to switch to the Arcane spec at this stage and take advantage of the abilities from the Arcane talent tree. It goes without saying that at this stage of the game your skill base will drastically improve and the gear available to you will be incredible.

An Alliance Mage Leveling Guide

As I said above, this spec rotation is best used with a decent Alliance leveling guide. They’re not hard to find, but make sure the one you choose is in-game and complies with Blizzard’s plugin policies. If you don’t already have a guide, grab one and try out the spec rotation. You’ll be leveling up to 80 in no time.
